Winter is on its way, and so is Polar Fest 2026! From February 6 - 22, our community will come alive with icy fun, local traditions, and the togetherness that makes Detroit Lakes so special.

Each year, the Polar Fest Committee relies on the kindness and generosity of our community for contributions to the festival and requests all participants contribute to the expenses we incur as a group. Contributions help support Polar Fest and ensure that events are included in the Polar Fest marketing materials, including flyers, social media, newspaper, radio, television, and online exposure. We also rely heavily on this website polarfestdl.com to promote our festival, where each event has its own link and sponsors are recognized.

We would like to request your support for the 2026 Polar Fest, where we celebrate all things in winter and the vibrancy of our fantastic community. Are you ready to jump in (the frozen lake)?

🎆 Light Up the Sky – Be a Fireworks Sponsor

The fireworks finale is the crown jewel of Polar Fest—drawing thousands of people and creating memories that last long after the last spark fades. But this community’s favorite depends on donations to make it happen.

By sponsoring the fireworks, you’ll receive recognition in all fireworks promotions plus visibility on our website, social media, and printed materials. Most importantly, you’ll be part of the tradition that makes Polar Fest shine.

❄️ Bring the Fun – Host a Polar Fest Event

Polar Fest thrives because of the amazing variety of events hosted by businesses, organizations, and community groups. Whether it’s a chili cook-off, snow sculpture contest, live music, or something new, your event adds to the magic.

As a host, your event will be featured here on polarfestdl.com, our social media, and printed materials. You can also invite Polar Pete to stop by ($25 per appearance) to make it even more fun!

To get involved you can fill out our online form and pay online with Zeffy or mail back our sponsorship letter available at the bottom of this page by December 11, 2025 to let us know if you’re interested.
