Each year, the Polar Fest Committee relies on the kindness and generosity of our community for contributions to the festival and requests that profits from all participants' events contribute to the expenses we incur as a group. Your contribution helps support Polar Fest and ensures that your event is included in the Polar Fest marketing materials, including: flyers, social media, newspaper, radio, television, and online exposure. We also rely heavily on www.polarfestdl.com to promote our festival, where each event has its own link and sponsors are recognized. Polar Fest consistently manages Facebook and Instagram accounts where our team is posting event information, sharing sponsor recognition, and letting visitors and locals alike know what’s happening each day (and where they can find Polar Pete, the festival mascot, out-and-about). Contributions to fireworks, tentatively set for the first and last weekend of the festival, help guarantee an awesome kick off and send off to these three weeks of winter fun in Detroit Lakes!
